The fly agaric (Amanita muscaria var muscaria) is a poisonous fungus from the genus of Amanita (Amanita), which includes the particularly toxic green amanita (Amanita phalloides). The fly agaric is less toxic, but not harmless.
The red mushroom occurs in Central Europe from June until winter, until a major publication date of July to October. There are several recognized varieties of it (variants). The toadstool in the proper sense, is the variety Amanita muscaria var muscaria.
Amanita muscaria var aureola is often without flakes with membranous sheath. Amanita muscaria var formosa has a yellow head, orange and yellow colored flakes very few. Both variations cause the same symptoms of poisoning such as the fly agaric.
The king brown fly agaric (Amanita muscaria var regalis) is not performed more recently as a separate species, but also a variety, it is very much like the panther mushroom. 1
